SERAPHIM LAND, OGUN STATE – The Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Unification Church of Nigeria has officially entered a transformative era following the enthronement of His Grace, Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JP, FNACM, as its new Supreme Head.
During a landmark installation ceremony held at Seraphim Land in Maba, Prophet Alogbo delivered a powerful inaugural address, outlining a “Ten-Point Agenda for Unity and Growth.” The roadmap is designed to reposition the historic church as a global leader in spiritual excellence, holiness, and humanitarian service.
A Blueprint for Spiritual and Structural Reform
The new Supreme Head emphasized that his administration would focus on building a “united, disciplined, and Christ-centered Church.” Key priorities within his ten-point mandate include:
- Branding and Identity Reformation: Modernizing the church’s image while preserving its heritage.
- Doctrinal and Liturgical Realignment: Harmonizing worship practices across the unification.
- Educational Advancement: Prioritizing the completion and commencement of Moses Orimolade University.
- Global Mission and Evangelism: Expanding the church’s reach beyond national borders.
- Empowerment: Dedicated programs for youth and women to foster leadership and financial independence.
- Technology and Media Advancement: Leveraging digital tools for global ministry.
Phased Implementation
To ensure sustainable progress, Prophet Alogbo announced that the agenda would be executed in three distinct phases over the next three years:
- Phase I: Focuses on doctrinal harmonization, the establishment of disciplinary frameworks, and laying the groundwork for Moses Orimolade University.
- Phase II: Will see the rollout of the church’s new branding, large-scale evangelism campaigns, and the launch of empowerment initiatives.
- Phase III: Concentrates on institutional strengthening, international expansion, and long-term financial sustainability.
A Call for Collective Responsibility
Invoking the spirit of unity, Prophet Alogbo cited John 17:21—“That they all may be one”—as the guiding principle for his tenure. He reminded the congregation that the task of revitalizing the fold extends beyond any single leader.
“The task ahead is a collective responsibility,” Prophet Alogbo declared. “I urge all denominations, pastors, and members to embrace this vision as we build a church that is not only spiritually vibrant but globally relevant.”
Leadership Transition
Prophet Alogbo succeeds the former Supreme Head, His Eminence Prophet Dr. Solomon Adegboyega Alao, whose tenure was marked by efforts to bring the various branches of the C&S fold under one umbrella.
The installation marks a historic turning point for the C&S Unification Church, as it seeks to blend its deep-rooted spiritual traditions with contemporary institutional growth as it approaches its second century of existence.
